Amp For Center Channel?

i was just wondering how this works? i want to hook up a center channel in my ride, but am clueless how it works. the thing is, do i need a separate processor so the amp won't see a left or right input or what? is there an amp out there that has a dedicated center channel, like a 3 or 5 channel component amp?

You'd need a 5.1 sound processor to get a genuine center channel. Or you can just bridge left and right together and create a "false" center channel.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

what about the alpine MRA-F355, do you think that still need the 5.1 processor? i know that it says you need a processor control ready head unit, would the CDA-9887 work? i don't see any of their head units saying "processor conrtol ready". i think that it would because my old CDA-9813 had tuning for surround speakers.
