siucsaluki11 Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 Anyone got tips on apillars? Im thinking of trying them in my next build, wanting to get some better sound. Im tall, 6'5, and had the problem in my grand am, blazer, now my lancer, and any car ive been in honestly, where my leg blocks the speaker in the door. Im thinkin of doing a pillars to fix that. But i got a few questions, are there any brands you would reccomend, looking in the 250-300 price range, do you have any tips for placement/aiming to help with imaging, and would you reccomend 6.5s, 5.25s, or possibly going 3way in the apillar, or possibly larger drivers, anything? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I dont know all that much about how to obtain proper imaging. any suggestions would be much appreciated. This works for till i get the blown amp fixed] Alpine 4ch salvaged from blazer (currently near death)9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rearKintik HC1400 under the hood.metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money.
