1/0 gauge wire too close to engine?

i need help i started doing my big 3 and saw that my wire from the alternator has to touch some hot engine parts how can i prevent the plastic around the wire from melting?

is there some kind of special tape of wire housing?

I've always managed by using strategic zip ties and a bit of 1/0 wire loom.

does wire loom have any special properties to protect the wire?

Says resistant up to 1,200 degrees, constant, so if your engine gets that hot at all, then im guessing its time for a new car

Well the heat shrink tubing keeps that braided sleeving from moving, so yea just get some 3/4" stuff from darvex.com

you cant zip tie the wire to other parts of the motor? if its for the navi im sure its not that much different from mine.
