Marlo Stanfield
That might be the rough volume of the full trunk but by no means is it usual space for an enclosure. EricR
this is like deja vu...just because the trunk volume is 18.6 cubes doesn't mean you are going to fit a box in there that big...not even half that big unless you glass the inside of the whole trunk, walls, floor and top. i have an 02 impala and 6.6 is about the biggest that can fit with a regular shaped box. Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? steven
Any GOOD 15" sub AA, FI, DD, DC, ect. dont ask which is better by the way. Amps Sundown, DD, Diablo, AQ, ect which ever amp fits your sub and preference as far as what your wanting to do. You could also go with 12's or 10's instead of a 15. I just thought Id throw something out there for you. Just for the record I have built a box for a 2004 impala and you wont have more than approx 8 cubes for the box once you add the batteries and amps. CLNFREAK
my 06 impala I made a bandpass box and cut out the center of the rear seat so it fires thru the fold down arm rest
Illegalpacket
So with all the people that have builds in impala's. I'm just curious with the sub size i should go with Single 15?. Lookin for SPL.
