Sundown Saz-3000d amp going into protect mode

My Sundown amp is going into protect mode every now and then. Im using a dual 1 ohm 18'' btl on it. I have it wired to 2 ohm untill i get a alt. Im runnig 0 awg power and ground and i checked all the wiring over and over and its all good. The only thing i can think of is that its on the back of the box and its about 2 inches from my back window wall and maybe every now and then the back wall flexes and hits the amp and puts it into protect mode? Because if i turn the truck off and start it again, it goes back to normal. Anyone have an idea or experienced the same problem that can help me out?

Thanks alot!

Even at 2 Ohms that thing still puts out some decent power. I would think your lack of electrical has something to do with it.

Edit: Says 1600 at 2 ohms. Max I would ever run on any stock electrical is 1k.

I did the big 3 and i also have 2 batteries

Move the amp and see what happens, might not be enough air flow or vibration is tripping it into protect.

Im going to mount it to the front of the box and see if that helps

Thanks for the input

Get a DMM and check your voltage at all points. Also check your RCAs or try another pair, it could be getting a dirty signal
