but a dmax with a load and an 8.1 with a load on got the same economy we have a guy right now that gets the same mpg he did with his 08 diesel dually crew cab as his new 12 6.0 dually crew cab so i think the big block would still be a good motor to have around still people that buy trucks this size dont care about how many mpg they get they care about the price and the power. ive worked at a chevy truck dealer for 4.5 years was just looking if any one had the same thoughts i did. say what u want about the money thing but u just got to look to the future fords sales were down in 2011 compared to 2010

I have been thinking about this for a while now and was wondering what u guys think. I'm thinking that gm should bring back the 8100 gas engine for trucks cause with the price of diesel and all the added price to buy one that a 8100 might be more situation for some people. Please post ur opinion

yea but if you are tight on money you would have to upgrade your charging system more to run that amp at .5oh and also 4 subs are going to cost more htn the 2
