sully Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 I got a 2003 tahoe to pull my f150 with and it was cheap so I didn't look too closely at all the issues before I got it. The two small speakers (or whatever they are) in the headliner (one above the driver and the other near the center in the back) have a feedback noise coming thru them when the engine is running and it sounds like it winds down slowly after I take the keys out. Almost like a small compressor is running and they are playing the sound. BTW it has an aftermarket radio in it now with onstar integration and it still makes the same noise. Also the rear AC only blows cold for some reason, it was hot the day I got it and i checked to make sure the AC worked but since it has been cold I turned on the Heat and it still blows out ice cold air only. sully Posted December 16, 2009 Author Report Posted December 16, 2009 the onstar still works and I would like to keep it for resale purposes. Just wanted to know if anyone had ever heard of this or had a clue where to start looking. I kinda think that the previous owner left the sunroof open a little and some water may have gotten under the headliner cause none of the map lights work either, just the dome lights that come on when you open the door. I'm figure that I'm not the only one that has had these problems. Thanks for the quick responses.
