custom molded fiberglass box i need help

im just looking for a relativley easy way to make custom fiberglass enclosures. I want these enclosures for the space behind the wheel wells in the trunk, i would like to know materials and how to do it if at all possible

Basically just make an MDF base and back and mount it in the trunk behind the tire wells, then tape off the carpet or aluminum foil, to protect, lay down resin and matting over the floor and wood making a form of the bottom and back and sides. Then take out the form and trim for clean look.

Then I usually put the ring for the sub on the form and rap the the form with fleece. resin and mat the hell out of it and then test fit the form in the trunk.

Now if you want the super clean look so the it looks like its a factory style, I like wrap the box in grille/speaker cloth and tape it under the weather strip and tape off the weather strip to protect it from the resin. Then resin and mat the cloth and when it cures you should have a nice form of the inner part of the trunk that will sit under the weather strip.

At this point you can do all you final sanding and bondo work and wrap or paint, depending on what you feel is best.

BUT REMEMBER TO TAPE OFF THE FLOOR AND SIDE PANELS!!!!!!
