soundman72
Hey guys- So.... I've got SAT radio (sirius) and it sounds too mid bass'y. My idea is to add an EQ inline. My thought is to use a parametric, maybe 5-7 freq. points of adjustment EQ. Worst case, just a reg EQ- non parametric, but I desperately need one that has a HPF for the door speakers and a controllable sub out (considering after this is in I'll be doing my sub install) Now this is my system: Stock Ford taurus HU (I have digital HVAC so I can't get an adapter for an aftermarket HU, plus i'm going for the factory look) ---> the stock RCU is swapped out with a MACH unit (the best factory one made) ---> In the RCU's CD port is a PEI RCA convertor ---> The rca's run up to the cab and plug in to either my SAT radio or iPod. My plan is to add the EQ between the SAT radio and the RCAs. Ideas on what EQs to use? I'd like one that has front mounted knobs or faders, hopefully half or full din. I've looked at the clarion units and they seem to be the perfect solution but I'm asking you guys for suggestions; any will be helpful
