Stallion Marauder Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 a funkypup15" square speaker has about 196sqin of cone area (using a 14" cone). and an 18" circle sub has 254.47sqin of cone area (straight from a thread on here). 15" kicker = 18" round? i think not edit: stallon has to read up on some things first IMO Hey Granny I measure my Kicker's just like how i measure my tv diagonal, corner to corner...Also square subs have 25% more surface area than cone.
