Jroc55 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 ok i have a 2000 nissan maxima with bose system, i bought a pioneer avh p4100 double din dvd reciever for it, we put it in it fits fine turns on everything works fine, just no sound :shot: . i have looked around and they say its got to do with the bose system. any suggestions? somebody please help right now im stuck with a bad ass center piece in my car with no sound at all....it hurts to even drive. If you dont find it you may need to check your speaker's and see if each one have a amp next to it. On the back of your radio did you have a extra plug? Alpine D900 head unit 7" flip out t.v Kicker 6 1/2 components (front,rear)KS 6502 MB quart 3 1/2" in front A/C vent's (center channel) DC Audio LVL 5 18" (pair) Custom ported box Sundown 4500 at .5 Sundown 100.4 XS 3100 up front and a pair of XS 6500 in the rear. 1 17" Eiger Vision T.V 2 7" Eiger Vision T.V in Second row. Dynomat Top to Bottom (foam in all halo beam's) DC Eng Alt 260SP and a 400SP dual set up. big 3 Sitting on 24" If your neighbor don't complain it's not Loud! Mendozauly Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Ok you have two option's you can by pass your factory amp. or you can go to your local shop and ask for the Bose harness for your car. This harness haves RCA's coming from it you would need to plug in your rear and front RCA's from your head unit to it. Don't' forget the amp turn on wire (blue w/white). I hope this help if you need more help PM me i can walk you tru it if you decide to do the bypass of the factory amp(Bose) This part you need 8 to 10 red barrel connector's and a good pair of climper's. Channel knocks.
