If your going to wait until you get the blazer you will have plenty of room for 2 15s or 4 12s, But to run that amp even close to 2200 rms you will need electrical upgrades. If its cheaper for you to get 2 more type r's I would do that just because its cheaper, More cone area, and like I said I just like the idea of having more subs.

do you have any install experience?

if not then don't expect it to blow your lady friends hair around

is it in a small car or a monster suv?

do you have an electrical system to back that power up?

do you have enough space for a big enough box for 2 15's?

what frequency does your car peak at?

are you gonna tune for daily music or spl?

alot of variables man

i prefer the SSD with a copper coil over the Q and BL just because of the sound. it is vey warm and smooth with the copper coil. basically just personal preference

I have some install experience..enough to do this right i think lol..and yes the electrical will be enough to back it up and I will have enough airspace and it will be a blazer and I'm gonna tune for daily music

Thanks man, I owe it all to this forum though, I like it when I can actually chime in and have something useful to say, for a couple years now Ive basically been a question asker and a reader just trying to learn all I can, I still got a long way to go but I have learned so much from just browsing through threads and asking the occasional noob question. And just because I messed up and have first hand experience of what happens when you slack and try to force a setup without doin it right. My 15s are tuned a little too low right now and the box isnt big enough, sounds good but could sound soo much better. Its taken me a year and a half to just say goodbye to the backseat and upgrade electrical so I can do a legit build.
