CASZ71
I have had a 2000 honda recon since 2001 and here lately when you ride it you can be going down a hill and it seems to just come out of gear while it should be holding back.. I have replaced alot on this atv but it has been really good to me considering all the hell ive put it through that you cant even imagine.. but the engine hasnt gave me any problems at all except this and for a while the clutch has been slipping (the engine is turning but the wheels aren't).. Ive went through bearings in the rear end probly 10 times since ive had it and in the swingarm too from being in the mud so much and water and mud getting in the rear end but can anyone tell me why it would be coming out of gear like this?? c_stud
probably the shift forks inside the transmission housing are bad or the gears itself are Quote 1998 Nissan 200sx NOW: Dex-p98r head Planet Audio 300.4 mids and highs Planet Audio/Pioneer tweeters/crossovers Skar SK1500.1 3 SKAR Vvx15 dual 4 wired at .
CASZ71
probably the shift forks inside the transmission housing are bad or the gears itself are It doesnt worry me too much but i dont want the teeth on the gears to start sheering off.. think it will be an issue?? And also when coasting down hill in gear at higher speeds it blows out white smoke.. Ive heard it could be my valves but its still running strong.. c_stud
if it's white it could just need new valve seals or a set of rings couldn't really tell from just going down hill Quote 1998 Nissan 200sx NOW: Dex-p98r head Planet Audio 300.4 mids and highs Planet Audio/Pioneer tweeters/crossovers Skar SK1500.1 3 SKAR Vvx15 dual 4 wired at .
