A Little Help Please

i was wonderin if it would be better to get 3 12" pioneer premiers(3000 watts a piece) or a fully loaded 18" btl. they will cost about the same price i was wonderin wat some of you guys would go with.

well 1,500Rms...3000 is the peak right....Rms only matters...I think try the btl...Will get hella loud..FI FTW

yah look at RMS....Those subs are 1,500rms a piece so together it is 4,500 rms but I would get a btl....Just look at the rms part....It is the only thing you want to look at.

for that btl....Well Don't put 5,000rms like steve does..... He has a special box made for it....Put like 2,600rms and do some upgrades on it...Here are some amps...Hifonics and acourtics amps. What is your price range for everyting?

the pioneers are only 1000 watts a piece. which means only 3000 rms and even more of a reason to go with a btl

IMO there is no way that 1 18 will be louder than three 12's on the same amount of power that Fi says it will take 2000wrms and we all know that they will take a lil more than that but so will the pioneers you can put 4k rms to the 3 pioneers allll day and have no probs just think about it 1 18=254.34 of cone area and 3 12's=339.12 of cone area so if you planned to use the same amp on both setups the 3 12's will be louder
