thnefosp
i was wondering with the options that it gives you when you buy the fi subs on what they actually do and which ones i should get. configure speaker - dual 1 or dual 2 flat wind coil copper coil bp power Quote build for when i get back from iraq (4) Fi SSD 12s (2) aq 2200d (2) xs3100 high output alt. big 3 6th order blow through
Guest
dual 1 and dual 2 are just different voice coil ohm loads. allows you to wire the subs to the lowest ohm load possible for every amp on the market. copper coil adds some weight to the cone and all the other soft parts (like spiders, cone etc) so the sound quality will be a tad higher edit: From *** The BP option option adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack for a little extra mechanical ability. Flatwind: The flatwire coil option simply helps the power handling of the sub. The coil has more surface area to dissipate heat and will take more power then the regular round wire coil that comes in the stock version of the sub.
