Percy Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Doin my first build this weekend and wanna see if this box will be good for 1 18" DC XL off 2200rms??
Decaf Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 click slot port and port bends then ur gonna have to rearrange things again
Doylerules826 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 what does the port bends mean like kerf ports 2000 chevy blazer Avic n1
Percy Posted January 6, 2010 Author Report Posted January 6, 2010 i thought so, mine wont be like that. got another pic here, lemme know if this will work
Decaf Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 like kerf ports lol, no if the port is longe than the depth u have to make a 90 degree turn and make the port a "L" ur box depth is 27... minus 1.5 for wood... minus 4.25 for port width and u get... 21.25 and ur port length is 23" get it? so check port bends and redo it again
Percy Posted January 6, 2010 Author Report Posted January 6, 2010 i thought the port "length" was the inside port wall, say sub up and the port is in the back at the bottom, the 23" length would be how deep the port goes into the box, if the box is 27 in deep then there should be a few inches of clearance, i thought the box calculato automatically factored in MDF
