Will I Need Upgraded Electrical?

I drive a 1995 Nissan Altima GXE Sedan. The battery is nothing special, but has been replaced 3 times along with the alternator.

I will be running a Phoenix Gold 15.0.01 1000rms amp and I'm curious as to if I need a new battery. I already have a new battery that I'm looking at if I really need one but I just wanna make sure I need one first.

Quick Edit: Do I also need a new alternator? I'm pretty new to all of this.

THey said stick electrical can handle up to 1,000 watts. personally i would put a Powermaster under the hood and call it a day. you will probably have a lot of voltage drop.

What concerns me is the voltage drop ruining the subs (2 15" Type R's)... Should I be concerned, even with an upgraded battery?

Well I'm running 1200 rms on the electrical in my signature and I have very little voltage drop at idle

with your complete stock electrical you will see a voltage drop. if you notice your going under 12 volts i would get a new stronger front battery. defiantly do the big 3. some people gain voltage from it

Just upgrade your BIG3 and see if that will help any

I'll do the Big 3, and if I still have considerable voltage drop, I'll throw in a nice new battery.

Just my opinion i would just get a h.o alt, big 3 and a good battery of your choice, this way, u already have a good start to any future systems
