J Dubb
I just got 4 brand new free Infinity Mids and Highs. Is Infinity a good brand? Must be better than my factory speakers. Edited January 10, 2010 by J Dubb

Hostility
i love the clarity infinity delivers how would these compare to the new rockford 6.5 power components? i have infinity 6.5 coax right now, but upgrading to comps soon. Guest
components blow coaxials out of the water. most coaxials use just a capacitor to filter out the low frequencies going to the tweeter but the woofer portion gets all the frequencies handed to it. a component system has a crossover for each woofer/midbass and tweeter that gives each speaker a select amount of frequencies. example: 1hz to 4000hz going to the woofer and 4000hz and up going to the tweeter. JZeFF
Im running Rockford Power 6.5" Components in my front doors, and Infinity Kappa Perfect 3way 6x9's in my rear deck. I do love the Infinities, they sound amazing, but the Rockford components blow them away. The Rockfords sound better at higher volume than the Infinities do. Im not saying the infinities sound bad, in any way... The Rockfords just sound better. Hopefully this helps you make a decision. =] Quote Pioneer x930 bt Rockford t2500 bdcp 18" nightshade v1 DC audio 175.4 RF power T162s up front, infinity 3 way 6x9's in the back (removing rear stage and re-doing doors soon) 3x XS power D2700's Knukonceptz 0awg all around
