well that power is perfect for the XL. I run one 15" XL on the same power, sounds great and loud too

looking forward to the 6.5s can't fit 8's in my doors and my infinity's sound great but severely lack "real" midbass

if the weight and price difference doesn't mean much definitely go for the XL. Even if your not running a ton of power at least you know you can get louder by adding more in the future and it will take it safely.

well, no experience with irragi but too many horror stories, I wouldn't do mechman if you have an import my didn't do much at idle and sent in once for repair and a few months later it crapped out on me again. Before anyone says anything don't tell me I don't know what I'm doing b/c i'm running the same power right now on my stock and it hasn't failed or any signs yet. So this time I went with DC, they only problem is the wait with them, but everyone is happy afterward. Hopefully I get mine in two weeks like I was told today. As for EA, I've read it's a hit and miss but once again no personal experience with them.

with that amount of power I know a lvl5 could handle it, so if it's one with 3-4k a lvl 5 if 2.5k on down to rms I say lvl4xl. I'm only running 1600 to my 1 15" lvl4XL and shit bangs
