The hifonics components I have sound great even without an amp to add more power. I am going to have to spend the next couple months trying to figure out what my settings were on my radio. Did he hook up the LEDs in the light. My woman loves me, hates my habit.

I think the speaker size is a 6 shallow mount. If you make your own mount and your speaker is no deeper than 2.5 in. You can go deeper too, but youll have to cut some metal from the door and you run the risk of interfering with your window. Another thing, I had to run new speaker wire because the harness went bad. A trick to get new wire through the door. use a rod no thicker then a couple millimeters and attach the wire to it and run it through that way. those back connectors were so small. But maybe if I could get the door panel to look a little better or the cover to look a little neater than the stock covers, I might want to hook up the LEDs for a little effect... just a thought. build log: http://www.stevemead...-5/#entry753970
