bombout800 Posted January 12, 2010 Report Share Posted January 12, 2010 So i recently installed the eq. I noticed that the mid and high end seems to be a bit stronger and cleaner. Problem is... the bass(sub) doesn't seem to get down as low. It will play but its not as loud as opposed to just rca in the deck. However, the 45-60hz stuff seems to be louder. Which i don't think is a good thing because my box is tuned in the 37hz range. The freq is set to 20 on the eq. I have played with the adj. from 20-50 and no noticeable difference so i leave it at 20 and boost it. When i boost it for the sub, it seems the mids get bass. Something wrong here? Volume on eq around 3/4 Fader set a little to the front being as the rear components are basically at my ears. The first freq set to 20 and the gain up about a 1/4. Second freq set to approximately 200-250 i keep playing with it. gain set a tad over a 1/4. Third freq set probably around 1500hz and gain about 1/2. Fourth freq set to 8-9000hz and gain around 1/2.
