i don't like the port design on the box. It kinda seems like its not very free flowing! The purpose is to get the air out of the box as fast as possible. But hey, if it sounds good then awesome! Keep up the good work!

I second this! I had a sct on my 03 6.0. Your is the 7.3 but they still tune these things. Innovative diesel was the best people in the diesel community! If something wasn't right they fixed it. They would even have some things to me the next day! Customer service is out of this world! SCT will blow the edge out of the water!!!

There was a guy around that used to street race all the time. Probably about 3-5 years ago. He had a few boosted honda's. I dunno what the power ever was to the wheels cause he wouldn't talk about it. But i rode in his car one day for a race(he's a best friends good friend, not mine) and his tack stopped at 10k. I think integra type r cluster. And he was revving way way over that. If i remember correctly he was running close to 13k. He used to build, modify, rebuild, turbo, tune, try all kinds of things. Had a junk yard basically of hondas. I remember the turbo crx he had that smashed this turbo vette. Everyone talked about it. He raced for money. He knew he could win. So he would take your money. People that ran in the low 11's he would smash. He never went to the track. Always bolted up slicks and rolled out! ha ha. Hondas are hard to beat. Very reliable and will take some hella abuse!

In fact i was interested in the morel tweets that are on parts express. they have a few different ones and im looking for something to go into some pillars or something. I'm wanting to know if just running them off the head unit would be ok. And how would they sound? I know they have two soft dome tweeters on parts express that are morel. Sorry if i hijacked, but i think we are asking the same question about the same things.

could a bad valve seat be at fault. I know randomly they can fail. I dunno whether its from the valve itself or the seat just happened to go bad after some time.

You need to try and take the filter and intake tract off. Check the MAF sensor for ANY debris. Actually get some MAF sensor cleaner and clean it anyways. Take the tract off. Inspect around the throttle plate(butterfly valve(s)). If there is any debris, discoloration, or anything causing it to hang or catch clean it!! Find something to snake in a little past the butterfly valve(s) to clean it. Make sure its nice and clean and crank it. May hesitate at first for a few seconds.... Then when it fires. Give it a few revs. Drive around to see if the problem still goes on. If not AWESOME! If so.. I would think the IAC and/or the TPS may be going south on you.
