Boon Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I'm guessing 16v charging... It sounds like it's overvoltage protection. Most amps do it at 16.x v and the difference will be in the tolerances of components in the remote turn-on circuit... maybe you just got one with extremely low voltage drop across the remote turn on diode or something? Mod it or swap it. 10.x volts fo' life!
