Right now I have 2 yellow top optimas one in front other in the back and I have it connected to a crutus 2610d amp and 3 12's at 1.34 ohms why does the amp go in protect because I was playing music and all of a sudden it goes in protect why does this happen

but I played music for bout 30mins and it did not over heat nd might be my voltage because it drops from 14.4-8 to 11.9-12.3 volts but I'm buying a 300 amp alt do you youthink this will fix my problem

seems to me like thats your problem. and yes itll fix your problem most likely.
