This is a couple months after I got the sub and wanted to see what it could do with 1000rms. I got a little 700wrms on it now and I just hooked up a eq in the lac : But I blew a 6x9. Shitty Premier coaxial. The eq made everything sound a lot better but I need to get new rca cables because when I take a cd out, my sub burps once and it then the door speakers sound like I'm in a damn jet or something, about to take off. lol Remember, this was just a test to see how it would hit. The smaller amp I got on it now makes it sound so much cleaner. I'm just tired of it really. Had it for almost 2 years and I want some 15's now lol i had a 13w7 on a jl 1000/1...did a clean swap out for a dc lvl 4 15"...what a huge difference. i know what you guys are going to say, w7 is a sq sub blah blah blah. long story short, the dc sounded pretty much as good as the jl and harder.
