Bluebrindle Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 currently i have 2 sundown 3500's running at .6 ohm each with 12 hawker genesis batterys (42ah each) (same batt as the stinger 1000 iirc) and a 190a alt yes it is struggling, i can play for under 5 mins before it drops to 11.8 at which point i have to stop. my problem is space, its a uk diesel grand cherokee and has not much space at all. only option is to take out the air con and fit one in the stock location. i need a universal alt to work with this car and i,ll have to get brackets made. i,m going to get 2 of the 250a mechman slim fit alts as i know they will work and fit would 508ah of agm battery and 500a of alt power 4 xundown 3500's? going by steve meades 1200a alts and approx 1000ah battery with 30k this should be ok, but want to see opinions first. just want to stay above 12.5v if i can Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
