Need a little amp help

I need an amp that can put out 2000 rms to power 2 1000 rms subs. The two amps im looking at are the soundstream pca-2000D and a POWER ACOUSTIK OVN1-5500D. Im clueless when it comes to amps that why I need the help. Please and thank you

from what i understand i would stay away from power acoustic. and looking at your screen name you should go with the soundstream!!!! are the subs soundstream as well? the mfg. could prolly suggest the correct amp if they are.

yup im going for an entire soundstream setup but ive been reading that their amps are poo now a days, btw what the MFG? and thanks for the input

ya i would def stay away from power acoustik ive had alot of customers burn em up easily and the sq kinda sucks on em plus they don't ever put out what they are rated at

i have an amp that is like a cuz of the power acoustik and its OK but go with soundstream, sundown, ROCKFORD, or even an alpine v power ive seen birth sheets of those that say 2400 rms at 2 ohms

I'm reasonably sure the PCA-2000D and that PA amp are damn near identical inside.
