79 cutty
Looking good. I would have to say, you could probably win car shows alone with just the frame.. I mean when you're done it's going to be the taj mahal in its self lol. Keep up the good work. Lol, I don't know about that, but hopefully it will be worth the time I have invested! Its gonna look sick when its done! Thanks! Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. 79 cutty
Frame work continued this weekend. Finished knocking down the first coat of mud on the outside and bottom of the frame. After that was done I went and hit the inside of the rails and the top side with the grinder to ensure a good mechanical bond with the filler: And then got the top and inside of the frame into filler as well: Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! Got my chrome brake booster/master cylinder: And after collecting more frequent flyer miles than I have (going from MN to TX, then to Chicago, and finally to CA to get plated) my axle finally back from chrome: Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking! We're finally starting to dream your dream Stock 7.5 GM axle with bolt on rear disc brake kit and 3/8" reinforcement plate with power balls welded on and molded. I will be using a slip yoke on the driveshaft to prevent axle and transmission failure as well. Shipping on the axle was definitely not cheap....but fortunately I know a guy who owns a trucking company so most of the shipping was as simple as him picking it up on his way to-and-from drop off's.
