1985 Buick Regal Limited Build Log

Well things are at least moving in the right direction now. Had my parts that were lost sent back to the chromer and they did a great job on getting them done in a hurry, and they turned out nice!

Core Support Bracket:

Radiator Support Bars:

Also they were kind enough to cut me a discount on getting a couple other things done due to the previous mishap so I had these done as well.

Chromed Hood Hinges:

Chromed BMH Accumes:

Also had my BMH pivoting bushing show up. Was unsure about how worth it these would be, but the articulation on these is slick. Hopefully reduce the chance of ripping off the rear axle ears.

Now I am just waiting on figuring out the inner fenders and getting them re chromed.

No big updates as of late. My wife actually just had our 2nd child, and I have had some issues with some bad chrome work coming back, so I have been dealing with getting that taken care of and been super busy with the newborn naturally.

I have sent out a couple pieces to get some custom airbrush work done to, but hopefully should get back on this beast soon!

Believe it or not work does continue.....just not always worthy of being posted. I did however recieve another small part I was having done. I am not a huge fan of airbrush work, and giant murals on trunks and such.....but I needed to cover the woodgrain on the door panels, so I had a buddy do some work. These parts are only about 1.25" tall....and his level of detail is phenominal. Can't see it in the pictures, but he even got the defrost lines on the back windshield on the work.

Also, on a side note, everything he airbrushed on these parts is from parts for the cars. For example there is the lettering on the license plate, my rims, the front piston pump, etc.

Still some areas we are going to go back and mess with.....but nice to finally see this beast all one color! Lol.
