Remote Help Nosie

SO im kinda a newb when it come to car audio but suspension is my forte!!, so anyways i need some cash so i traded my friend my alpine iva d105 for his kenwood kdc x493 and $300 cash, so i hook it as normal red to red yellow to yellow black to black and the remote blue to remote off the deck and my sub out and front and rears. turn on the truck and no sound at all comes out. So i was told the remote wire from the deck can sometimes be burnt if they hooked it up wrong and all you have to do is run it to the red wire, is this true or not i dont wanna fuck this deck up. also what is the product called to help with the remote wire distoration nosie like when i step on the gas i can hear it through the speakers.

It's been a few years since I have been in the game but I'd try this, first check to see if amp is turning on at all, a lot of decks come with 2 blue wires one will be for remote antenna and one will be a remote turn on. So second I'd try to turn on the fm tuner and see if amp turns on then, if so you have it wired wrong and need to switch it. If there is something wrong with the deck you can wire it to a switchable 12v source but that's not good at all. As for your second problem with the noise it's actually ground noise, now like I said my last build was in 2003 and there are probably better things out there but what I used to do was start the vehicle and then remove the neg battery cable for a minute or so then reconnect, sometimes this would clear it up if not try running larger wires to your alt and bat, + and -. Hope this helps since I am a ton rusty.
