dmanson Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 I've successfully ran those same amps at a 0.7ohm load without any problems. If its going into protect its because your gain is too high and your trying to push it too hard. You need to properly set your gains with a DMM. The BX2005Ds are a 1ohm stable mono-block amp. It only has one channel but two speaker connections for easy installation.
