lilwim Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I'm new here but I already have a shitload of questions! i wil start of with the thing i cant figure out how to do it without spendin a fortune, I wanna have a car amp (subwoofer) in my room, now here in europe i have 230 volts ac, i will have to get that to +/- 14 volts dc (i guess...) is there a way to do this wile still heving enough amps to keep the amp running for a low budget?? the amp sould be like 5000 watt peak thnx!

PC Power supplies to supply the same amount of power will be more expensive and will deliver only 12 volts. Also some cannot be in parallel with each other without causing ground loop faults or other electrical feedback that will trip the protection circuits within the PSU's. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
