csills Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 so im having a pretty good day so far...couple months ago my brother gave me his jl w7 12" out of his 3, which he bought from a drug dealer for about 300 bucks...LOL anyways i played it for a couple months until it froze up on me...but i have another one also i got for free from CL. so i sent in 1 of them for reconed and its gonna be shiped out today, so it should be here next week..than after that ill ship this other one out for a recone aswell..guy gave it to me cuz it was froze aswell. my brother is actually selling his 2 that he has and damn i never heard 2 until i heard his...his windshield flexes like crazy about 2 inches. (hes selling those on CL..hes low on $$) whoever wants those there pretty cheap and are in GREAT condition pm about those. anyways i have a question about a enclosure. should i make the box to 28hz or 32hz? and is it better to single out each sub to those frequency what im trying to say is like split them between the airspace. 28hz(this speaker) (board) (this speaker)28hz. or 28hz (speaker) (speaker) [port]. or (speaker) [port] (speaker). sounds confusing but its not. 2 JL W7's @ 1.5ohms - SOLD Soundstream PCX2000D - SOLD Yellow top Optima - SOLD Stock Alt 148db @ 36hz
