Memphisman Posted January 26, 2010 Report Share Posted January 26, 2010 i have a 99 ford ranger and i was looking to drop it 3/5 and put some 20 inch rims on it, what would be the best way to drop it and will i have to cut anything out so it doesnt rub? lowblueranger Posted March 17, 2010 Report Share Posted March 17, 2010 It will be tought unless you cut out the inner fender wells, and tub or cut up the bed. My 1998 ranger had a 4/6 DJM kit and it could only fit 17's with factory fender wells cut a little. A 2/4 drop would probably work for 20" rims but you'll need little tiny tires. I'd get the 2/3, with the right offset and a small series tire you should be able to get away with minor modifications.
