  1. i was pretty sure that i would need the more port area, i just had to ask to be sure. thanks for the help. bout to build another tline for both speakers
  2. I recently picked up a pair of them the thunder 7000's they were relatively cheap. they are the 4 ohm version. im running 1 in the tline right now pushing only 150 watts rms and its impressive for 1 12. i havent tryed them in any other type of box yet though. im looking at putting in the second speaker just lookin for the lazy mans way out to not have to build another box
  3. i figured it was that way the port on his is way to small but for every speaker you add in a tline, you have to account for the added cone area so more square inches righr?
  4. i have been messing around with tlines recently and the one i am using is for 1 12 mtx thunder 7000. i was on youtube and saw a guy take his tline and put 4 8's in it, here is the video of what it looks like : box shows at 6 secondsI am wondering if that kinda defeats the purpose of a tline, if it doesnt i would like to do it to mine as i dont want to make another box for my other speaker unless i really have too.
  5. thanks man i just gotta get the money for the rims, i want to do my stereo rebuild first though.
  6. alright i found a 3/5 that i was thinkin about getting for now and ive changed my mind to 18's running 235 35 18 for the tires do u think that would rub much?
  7. Ascendant Audio for the SMD, and Digital Designs for the other hope it helps
  8. look up in google FI car audio in google and its the first link then find it on their site
  9. i have a 99 ford ranger and i was looking to drop it 3/5 and put some 20 inch rims on it, what would be the best way to drop it and will i have to cut anything out so it doesnt rub?
  10. you will be pleased with the boston acoustics. If your looking for beatin down the whole block, not so much but boston acoustic subs are very clean and have a very true sounding bass to them. i have a G1 series 8 inch and the thing is amazing.
  11. if its your first box that you are building yourself, a round port might be easier for you
  12. damnit i want to push 1600 watts rms at 2 ohm, since i will be running 4 cvr's
  13. yah i dont run my system without the car being on, so i dont think i will have a problem, and it wont be up all the time, i like that "parkin lot pimp" never heard that, mostly it will only be up all the way for maybe competitions, or scarin the hell out of people
  14. its the Power Acoustik BAMF-4000/1d i am going by what the amplifier specs say.
