raytard Posted February 6, 2010 Report Share Posted February 6, 2010 well depending on the car/subs/orientation/transfer function/etc you can usually only effeciently play about 5 hz below your tuning freq before hard roll off/unloading. so if you want to play 22hz the highest I would tune is 27, but preferably like 25. I've kinda had every tuning between 26 and 40 and personally prefer 30-32. my current box ended up at about 35 and its a bit too high for my taste.
