blcrocker
I was wondering if it was possible to use a bolt instead of a distribution block. All i would have to do is attach ring terminals to the wires and put them on the bolt right? Im on a really tight budget atm and dont have money for a distribution block. Sanitarium
it'll work fine for a low budget situation.
finkster
yes it will work. you can just put ring terminals on each of the wires and bolt them together. only use one nut on the end, dont put any in between or that just adds unnecessary resistance. finkster
would a thin washer be ok? just so they dont rub together? It would be pointless. It doesnt hurt anything if they rub together. if anything you would want them to rub together. They are all positive wires. but yes i suppose you could use them. on the positive terminal of the battery i use no washers and have all my terminals "rubbing together." fritosaregood
would a thin washer be ok? just so they dont rub together? you can find copper washers to use. I know autozone has some for to use for your cars oil pan bolt. they are usually for half inch bolts. Lowes or homedepot might have some but last time i looked i couldnt find any Quote seller feedback: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=61719 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=68281 build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=44800 Gf's build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/54346-kickergirls-camaro-new-box-pg-5/#entry753970
