I Have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L that has a Pioneer AVIC-N2,Boston 4x6 Plate Speakers,Boston CX-6 Coaxials,Kenwood KAC-428s 2 Channel 200 Watts,Kenwood KAC-526 2 Channel 200 Watts,Kicker 8inch Free Air Competition Subwoofer with Tube Enclosure, Stinger 4 and 8 Gauge Custom Wire with Fuse Holders and 80a and 60a Fuses. Stinger and Rockford Fosgate 16 Gauge Speaker Wire,Shuriken BT-20 Battery which is the same as the Kinetik HC600,Stock Jeep Wrangler Alternator without BIG3. I am a High School Student that has very little money to upgrade my system, but I gave up my backseat for a stealth subwoofer enclosure amp rack that will be built once I know what I will be upgrading.I want it to be downfiring due to the open air of the vehicle with the amps under the box by subs, but with the port forward towards driver and passenger. I just don't know what subs, amps, wiring, batteries, sub box,etc to put in my car. It is an open air vehicle and I want it to hit hard, but I still want to be able to hear the mid's and high's. I don't compete, but I want to be heard and maybe compete later on. I would like to spend around 300, but I can spend up to 500, but would rather stay closer to 300 and still be loud and heard by others while driving and bumping. All suggestions are much appreciated.

I didn't say this in the 1st post, but I would like to stay with brands like Rockford,Orion,Kenwood,Pioneer,RE,Boston,MA Audio,MTX. The 500$ budget will work, but I would like to stay with 10's and 12's. What are your opinions on the Orion XTR PRO Subs the 10's and 12's.

don't we have someone on here with the same jeep doing 150 db in it, or going for 150, i saw a link to his youtube channel,

This guy needs a link, that guy has a wicked set up

Other words, ask that guy if 500 will do it, most of us won't have good advice for a soft top jeep like that

Second skin and dynacrap work great that, installed LARGE amounts on a friends jeep just to keep out road nose,

Don't build a system in that jeep without some second skin

My current 95 Jetta Build w/

pioneer h/u

2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils

2 Audiopipe apsm 1500.1s

1 Hifonics Brutus Elite 60x4

1 XS d925

1 Stinger spv35

1 1000 amp lead acid

50 ft of 0/1 ofc from Audiotechnix

all powerbass components, and coaxils, 4 sets

I plan on using second skin luxury liner and maybe some damplifier lite or pro and im getting the body and frame all bedlined with lynati or rhino liner. My dad put a grip of some sound deadening under the carpet before he passed in 01 but i dont know what brand the stuff is but its metalic with rubber or some rubber like stuff between the two metalic sheets under all of the carpet but its attached to the carpet itself
