Well for 1000watts you could pick 4 RE SRX's, they were about $250 a pair for 15" on ebay so 12" should be a bit less. Or you could get some Kicker CVR's for about the same price. You could also check out T3 they have very good products, but you might need to wait a bit since they haven't released their 2010 line. Also DC and Sundown have good products. Look through the site and you'll find a lot of build logs with different equipment and there's some nice budget systems. But that was just to give you some ideas on what you can do.
