It a layer of .5 in board then a metal layer then another layer of .5 in board. It is very expensive at $90 a 4x8 sheet or you can do what I did . I put roxul sound proof insulation in the caviety of the wall then a layer of 5/8 board, then strap the wall with soundbar then a double layer of 5/8 board. It worked very good for me.
