not sure about everything else but they all had a 1.6L engine.

are pruludes considered sports cars to insure? cause if i get one i wonder how much im gonna be paying for it. for us youngsters the rates r thru the fricken roof, which doesnt include if its a sports car :0. also its an 88

yes a prelude is definitely considered a sports car.

be accident free for 3 years and your insurance is gonna look pretty.

i am not sure how your insurance goes, but for mine the Civic Si wasnt considered a sports car or hi preformance, but the Acura Integra GSR or GXR which ever one it is was considered sport car and hi preformance with my insurance company and it equaled like a 50-75 dollar per month difference depending on the year model.
