joni13 Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 ok so i have 2 d34's only one installed as of now and i get these things super cheap like 75 a piece... but i've heard from a couple people that the d34's arent that great for audio so my dilema stay with the GREAT deal or invest in something else ik i will need more than 2 for what i wanna do along with a bigger alt but whats your guy's opinion on the d34s for audio??? im lookin to do 4-6k i'm slowly saving my money so i can do things right so whats your guys opinion? barros57 Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 I have 2 d34/78's. They are ok at best. They dont have the power burst that you would get from a XS batt or equivalent.. I got mine for around that same price (one was 70, the other 80, both bran new). I bought 2 C&D batts for 90$ each picked up new 75 AH. Look around for a better car audio batt. But If you have 4K, get a few yellowtops and a HO alt and you will be fine. joni13 Posted February 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 well original plans were about 7 d34s and runnin the 4 to 6 thousand rms nothings set in stone i change my mind all the time but do u think the 7 d34s n 270 amp alt be fine for it? i mean if i have to i can keep saving to get some more car audio focused batteries but for the price i cant pass it up RIP The 03 prix!
