Fifty-Three Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I have a 2007 crew cab The set up is currently a center console that holds 4 boston g5 12s the box is a sealed, single chamber that gives each woofer 1.2 feet. the internal area is 4.8 feet the dimensions are 58.5"x13"x11" the system hits hard....really hard....but doesn't have the vented/ported sound, and the box is lightly packed with polyfill if everything is right, its currently tuned to 28-33hz my question is. i'm strictly limited to these dimensions, is there anyway i could possibly port this box to tune it to 40hz? and make it hit even harder? i know the 12s are more than capable or hitting alot harder than they currently do.
