it always surprises me how people cant follow directions. your port area isnt high enough. 129-172 required and you have less than half the MINIMUM required area.

how bout this design then...tuned a bit higher at ~35hz but...the port on the other design was getting so big, i thought it might require too much bracing to keep from braking.

looking at a stetsom 5k2d amp so, hopefully 3k+ a sub once i get the electrical to back it...

I have 3K per sub right now in this box. There is another member on here that also has a box very very similar to mine and they both work great. tuned to right around 35

and i believe your box (2nd one) has too much port area ^^

dont think your box design would fit in the back of my vehicle tho...too much area?!?! ahh, haha...how bout 136" sq? tuned at 33?

I believe that would work. I dont know all the calculations and stuff behind port noise. Maybe someone can help me out here..?
