gene Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 So my buddy hooked me up with a brand new Sony Xplod GT SERIES - CDX-GT710 and Im looking to get some new mids/highs, what would you recommend to go along with this headunit? I'll be putting these in a 94' Acura integra. The speakers need to be 6.5's.
gene Posted February 15, 2010 Author Report Posted February 15, 2010 And, what would you recommend for an amp for them? Anything helps guys, thanks.

Guest Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 infinity reference series are cheap and LOUD AS HELL.
gene Posted February 15, 2010 Author Report Posted February 15, 2010 Im not too familiar with the price range for mids/highs, but i'd say under 200 if thats even possible. Haha
spl4life Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 good mids will always sound better of an amp... but you can run them of the HU... if your on a budget... i would recommend infinity... great sound quality and a great price... if you look around... Rockford prime series are not that bad either... if your gona go with a component set like the rockford T1's components... i would recommend to amp them... edit: is that 200$ budget per set? or for all ur mids and amp? if its your total budget... read my sig...
