My question is can i wire the voice coils directly to a channel? or do i have to tell the kid his settup will not work?? and if i do this will he tare the sub apart. 02 F150 reg cab pioneer head unit stock mids alpine type r 10" dual 4 orion hcca d 1200 1.26cuft tuned 36hz

So he he will only be putting 200-250rms to that type R I have a bigger version of this amp the 1250.2 and while its worked for what i wanted, they are not the best quality amps. i think i just gave myself a concussion i facepalmed so hard. and for the 1's that dont like me..... well, Im still here fuckers. Cant get rid of me that easy.
Boon Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Wire the coils in series then bridge the amp at 8 ohms. Makes sure there's no difference in the signal going to each coil. 10.x volts fo' life!
