It has 2 connections. 2 black wires on the top along with a green one. 1 of the black wires goes to the other plug on the bottom and the other one is ran to a solenoids, then connected to the battery. http://realmofexcursion.com/phpBB2/viewtop...hp?t=8996 <-------------There is another link to view my ALT.
David Posted June 22, 2006 Report Posted June 22, 2006 so from what I see you only have plugs going into the alt? if thats the case find out which wire is power going in and solder it directly to your upgraded wire as close to the plug as you can, thats about you can do unless you had a Custom plug made for you alt. Maybee Steve has a better Idea, but that is what I would do if that was my alt/truck. those guys over bashing ford for that type of alt is lame, My mustang's alt has a bolt maybee you could change the alt .
