Sundown has that new rubberized stuff to cover boxes up that's just like bed liner, but it didn't seem rocky in the pictures, looked nice n flat for the most part. Yepp, that's the box. About some light sanding...I doubt it. I stabbed this with a screw driver after wards trying to chip it and it wasn't chipping. They advertise it as a life time warranty that'll never chip, etc What you could do though, instead of using the rollers that have the huge holes in it (reason mine is so rocky), you could use a flat roller and it would be a lot flatter.
