G&S Designs amplifiers ?

I dont have any info on it, but I remember some years back seeing a crx with like 12-14 of these in it....I know that doesnt help much but I've seen on before lol

I used to own one just like it, same color and everything! Worked great for awhile powering 4 Kicker 15's at 2 ohms per channel. Old school goodness and judging by the lack of info (or used pieces for sale) online, I would say it's also the rarest of the rare! I sold mine after it developed a problem with loose RCA-to-board connections...and now I wish I hadn't sold it!

I almost positive that was made for G & S by PPI. I would try to contact someone in the tech department and see if they can help you. It is from 88-91 era.

I was thinking Orion or PPI, but not sure which. I love the classic lines of it though...just lots of aluminum and fins, simple and effective!

Definitely rebranded PPI amps. I had one in white - they came in red, white and blue. I was told by a G&S sales rep back in 1989 that they were marketed by Gordon & Smith, the same G&S of surfboard and skateboard fame.

I had a g&s competition 700. What a beast! They are the model number in watts at 4 ohm. They are 2 ohm stable but NOT bridge able. Look for almost double the power at 2 ohms. I also contacted PPI about them in the day and they did not have any other info on them.

I still regret selling my 700..
