This has to cover EVERYTHING including headunit, box, wiring, sub, amp, etc.. I was thinking about some 12" Type R's or some cheap Kenwoods, but I'm not sure. I also have $300 to spend on speakers for my 01 S-10. I want something with great sound quality. It has 2, 6.5's in the doors, and 2 4x6's in the dash. If somebody could help me out that'd be great. If anybody in the Sacramento area has a vehicle for sale for less than $1,500 get at me. I'm open to almost anything that runs.

I just put my first build together, here is what I did. alpine cde 105 from crutchfield - 150 shipped, included aftermarket parts/wire connectors hifonics 1210d - 170 shipped (i would spring for the audioque 1200d now that I look back on it, but this is just a start ) 2 12" type r's (new) - 200 local craigslist knukonceptz 4ga wiring kit - 30 shipped prefab box resealed and glassed - 90 shipped im going to get either the polk DB door speakers or the type r door speakers, but f*ck installing that shit right now lol. good luck man!

My first setup was a 12" Type R that I built a ported box for, a Hifonics amp that put out 600 watts bridged, cheap wiring kit, a cheap pioneer headunit, and some cheap hifonics component speakers. It all ended up costing like maybe $450-$500. It was good for my first setup. Does the 600 include door speakers for the olds? My Youtube Page.
